Terminal for truck starter batteries.
The labyrinth area of this terminal type is powder coated. The terminals are used for special high-quality batteries with a long service life. The coating provides for a very dense connection between the battery terminal and the polypropylene of the battery lid. This terminal type is made of an 8 % hard lead alloy to keep the melting point as low as possible when soldering the terminals.
Also available as type 828 in an uncoated version.
